FAQ
What areas do you service?
Village of Oregon, Wisconsin only. We do not accept properties outside the village.
What is the 2-inch snow trigger?
Service is triggered once approximately 2 inches of snow has accumulated. This is the threshold that starts service; it does not guarantee an exact arrival time.
How do I pick the right driveway size?
Measure length × width of your paved driveway and match it to the square-foot ranges in the pricing table. We confirm the correct tier during property review.
What is included in driveway snow removal?
Listed prices include driveway and sidewalk clearing for standard, non-corner lots. Corner lots add $15 per snow service to the normal driveway price for additional sidewalk clearing. Other areas are included only when specified in your service agreement.
Are sidewalks included, and how much do they cost?
Driveway and sidewalk clearing are included in the listed prices for standard, non-corner lots. Corner lots add $15 per snow service to the normal driveway price for additional sidewalk clearing.
How does corner-lot pricing work?
Check the corner-lot option when signing up. It adds $15 per snow service on top of your normal driveway price for the additional sidewalk clearing.
What happens during a major snowstorm, such as 12 inches?
The approximately 2-inch accumulation trigger starts service. If snow continues, we may prioritize an early-morning driveway clearing so customers can get out, then return after snowfall ends for final clearing. We generally do not repeatedly clear while snow is still falling.
When will you come if snow falls overnight?
If the 2-inch trigger is reached overnight, we aim to clear driveways by approximately 7:00 AM when conditions and timing allow. Exact timing depends on snowfall rate, weather and road conditions, and the number of properties being serviced.
Do you come multiple times during one storm?
For larger storms, the plan is generally an early-morning clearing when needed, followed by a final clearing after the storm ends, rather than repeatedly clearing while snow is falling.
What if snow continues after the driveway is cleared?
In a larger ongoing storm, an early clearing may be followed by a return visit after snowfall ends for the final clearing. Additional service timing depends on conditions and the route schedule.
How exact is the service timing?
Timing depends on snowfall rate, weather conditions, road conditions, and the number of properties being serviced. For overnight snow, we aim for approximately 7:00 AM when conditions and timing allow, but this is not a guaranteed arrival time.
How do contracts and pricing work?
Pricing is per visit based on the verified driveway size and snowfall amount. Snowfall over 5 inches is charged at 1.4× the standard rate. Corner lots add $15 per service, and salt and ice treatment is an optional $20 per application. A signed seasonal agreement and valid card on file are required before service begins; Nick will follow up to finalize the agreement.
How will I know my service has been completed?
Service is performed when the snowfall trigger and route timing call for it. For confirmation or a service update, contact Nick at (608) 886-5468.
Can I add salt and ice treatment later?
Salt & Ice Treatment is an optional $20-per-application add-on. You must select it when signing up, before the snow season begins; it cannot be added once the season is underway.
Do I need a contract and card on file?
Yes. A signed seasonal agreement and valid card on file are required before the first qualifying snow event.
What if I register after November 1, 2026?
Registration closes on that date and the program is capped at 20 spots. If spots remain before the deadline, complete signup and your seasonal agreement to lock in the rates listed above.
